How to Track Amazon Link Clicks and Visitors

Learn how to track Amazon link clicks, unique visitors, devices, locations, and traffic sources without counting social preview bots as human visits.

Every link created by the public Deeplinkify generator is a tracked, app-first Amazon link. The first valid link opens an anonymous workspace in the current browser, where you can manage the link and see privacy-conscious traffic analytics without logging in. All features are free. Log in when you want to protect the workspace and use it from other browsers or devices; only organizations and custom domains require login.

Create a tracked Amazon link

  1. Open Deeplinkify and paste a full Amazon URL, an Amazon short URL, or an existing public Deeplinkify URL.
  2. Generate the link and share the resulting Deeplinkify URL.
  3. Open the dashboard from the personal click total in the site header to manage the link and inspect its analytics.
  4. Optionally log in with Google or an email code to protect the workspace and access it from another browser or device.

The destination may be a product, search, category, Store page, or another valid Amazon page. Existing functional query parameters and Amazon affiliate tags are preserved.

Human clicks vs. unique visitors

Human clicks are confirmed visits from people. Deeplinkify filters known bots, social preview crawlers, browser prefetch requests, and other automated traffic. This means that pasting a link into WhatsApp should not add a human click when WhatsApp fetches the preview.

Unique visitors is a privacy-reduced estimate of distinct people. It is not the same as clicks: one person can click the same link several times. Deeplinkify estimates uniqueness without storing full IP addresses, raw user agents, or third-party tracking cookies.

Why totals can differ between cards and charts

Always check the label and selected period. An all-time card covers the complete history of a link. A chart set to Last 7 days or Last 30 days only sums clicks inside that range. When the chart is set to All time, its total should match the all-time human-click total.

The Today and Last 7 days cards are separate shortcuts. They do not change when you select a different chart range.

What the analytics page shows

Unknown does not mean the click is invalid. Browsers, privacy tools, apps, and hosting networks may omit the referrer or location information. Deeplinkify shows Unknown instead of guessing.

View one link or the whole workspace

The main Analytics page combines traffic from all links owned by your current workspace. Open an individual link and select its Analytics tab to see the same types of breakdowns for that link only. Date ranges work independently on each page.

Export your link data

Select Export CSV from Amazon links or Analytics to download your link library with titles, destinations, statuses, creation dates, human clicks, estimated unique visitors, and last-click times. The export is a download, so the current dashboard page stays open.

What Deeplinkify analytics do not measure

Deeplinkify measures traffic to the redirect link. It does not know whether the shopper added a product to the cart, completed a purchase, or generated affiliate commission. Use Amazon Associates reports, Amazon Attribution, or the appropriate Amazon seller reports for conversion and revenue data.

A useful campaign workflow

  1. Create a separate tracked link for each channel or campaign.
  2. Give each link a clear internal title.
  3. Share it and test the final Amazon destination on a real phone.
  4. Compare human clicks, unique visitors, devices, and sources after traffic arrives.
  5. Use Amazon reporting to connect traffic with downstream results.
