1. You paste an Amazon product link
Start with a supported Amazon product URL. Deeplinkify is focused on Amazon product links, including Amazon affiliate links.
If your original Amazon URL already includes your affiliate tag, Deeplinkify keeps that tag in the generated link.
2. Deeplinkify creates a redirect link
The generated Deeplinkify URL points to deeplinkify.eu/dl/ with the destination encoded as a query
parameter. This makes the link short enough to share while keeping the original Amazon destination available to
the redirect page.
3. The redirect page tries the Amazon app first
When someone opens a Deeplinkify link on a mobile device, the redirect page attempts to open the Amazon app using an app deep link. If the Amazon app is installed and the device allows the handoff, the shopper should land in the Amazon app.
4. The link falls back to the web
If the app is not installed, the device blocks the app handoff, or the browser does not support the flow, the link falls back to the regular Amazon web page. The goal is to avoid dead ends.
Important limits
- Deeplinkify cannot guarantee that every browser, social app, operating system, or device will open the Amazon app.
- Platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube can change how their in-app browsers handle external app links.
- Amazon can change its URL formats, app behavior, and affiliate tracking rules.
- Users are responsible for complying with Amazon Associates rules, advertising laws, and disclosure requirements that apply to their own content.
Data handling
Deeplinkify does not require an account and does not save generated links in a user database. Some URLs, especially shortened Amazon links, may be sent to the server only to resolve the final destination before generating the deep link. Normal hosting infrastructure may also produce temporary technical logs.
